The Hardwick Farmers Market (HFM) and the Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE) are proud to collaborate to support local agriculture.
CAE is a food systems hub in Hardwick, VT whose reach extends statewide and beyond. Our work touches all aspects of the food system in support of rural food businesses, farms, and communities. We work alongside our neighbors and partners to cultivate interdependence, take risks, and initiate change.
The Hardwick Farmers market has been a local favorite for over 20 years. The market has a variety of vendors whose offerings include veggies, meat, honey, maple, prepared food, baked goods, and crafts. The market is located at Atkins Field. Atkins Field is 15 acres of field, forest, wetland, and gardens maintained for public use by CAE. Atkins features a pavilion, a community orchard, trails, a bicycle pump track, historic granite industry relics, and open space for recreation.
