VT Food Venture Center
CAE owns and operates the Vermont Food Venture Center (VFVC), a shared use food hub and business incubator designed for food entrepreneurs and farmers seeking to grow their business.
VFVC offers 3 state-of-the-art, shared-use commercial kitchens for rent to food entrepreneurs, farmers, community groups, and more. Our kitchens are equipped with ovens and stove tops, food processors, steam kettles, fillers, blenders, mixers, peelers and more. Please download the Rate Sheet and Equipment List for more information.
VFVC supports job creation, strengthens Vermont’s value-added food businesses, creates opportunities for farmers, and further integrates the agricultural economy into the community and the state of Vermont.
November, 2022: Thank you for your interest in the Vermont Food Venture Center!
We are currently not open to new production clients. We welcome inquiries by food businesses interested in business planning and questions around commercial production, food safety and marketing; we look forward to getting you the resources you need. If you have specific questions please email our Farm and Food Business Specialist, Daniel Keeney at Daniel@hardwickagriculture.org. We will re-open the Venture Center to new clients in early 2023.
We can’t say enough to show our appreciation for the Food Venture Center. It’s a fantastic asset to small food producers, we are so lucky to have it.
